Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to allow an operator to easily make adjustments for each of the inspection items in paper sheet sorting that is based on the condition of paper sheets in a paper sheet processing device. The present invention relates to a paper sheet processing device comprising: a means for carrying out evaluations relating to the conditions of paper sheets for each inspection item and computing an evaluation value of each inspection item for each paper sheet; a means for storing the thresholds for each inspection item for sorting the paper sheets; a means for comparing the computed evaluation values for each inspection item with the stored thresholds for each inspection item and carrying out sorting according to the conditions of the paper sheets on the basis of the result of the comparisons for each inspection item; a means for providing a console screen which can accept an input for each threshold to an operator; and a paper sheet processing means for subjecting the sorted paper sheets to a process that is based on the results of the sorting.
