Abstract:
Provided is a paper sheet processing device (paper currency processing device (1)), comprising a storage unit (paper currency storage cartridge (21)) which is configured to store paper sheets (paper currency (100)) therewithin, with the paper sheets (paper currency (100)) arrayed such that the respective paper faces thereof are in contact. The storage unit further comprises: a through port (211) which is configured for the paper sheets to pass therethrough; and a support part (22) which is configured to have a support face which abuts the paper face of the paper sheet which is most distant from the through port and to move in the direction in which the paper sheets are arrayed, such that the paper sheets are arrayed in a direction which is oriented away from a position which is near the through port. The support part is configured to adjust the incline of the paper faces of the arrayed paper sheets by movement of the support face.
