Abstract:
In order to reliably discharge paper sheets collected in a collection unit to the opening side of the collection unit, this paper sheet processing device is configured from: a pickup unit that picks up paper sheets; a transport unit that transports the paper sheets picked up by the pickup unit; collection units that have an aperture for removing paper sheets collected in the interior of the collection units and are for collecting paper sheets transported by the transport unit; a discharge member that discharges the paper sheets inside the collection units toward the opening; biasing members that bias the paper sheets being discharged by the discharge member; and a control unit that drives the biasing members in accordance with the operation of the discharge member.
