Abstract:
This paper sheet storing device comprises: a case member that has a storage space in which paper sheets (6) are stored; a placement platform (22) on which the paper sheets (6) are stacked; a support mechanism that supports the placement platform (22) so as to allow movement in the stacking direction in which the paper sheets (6) are stacked; a spring member that urges the placement platform (22) so as to move the placement platform (22) toward the side where the paper sheets (6) enter; a lock mechanism (26) that restricts the movement of the placement platform (22); and an operation mechanism (27) that operates the lock mechanism (26). The case member is removably attached to an attachment part. When the case member is attached to the attachment part, the operation mechanism (27) comes into contact with the inner surface of the attachment part, thereby operating the lock mechanism (26) so as to release the restriction of movement of the placement platform (22), and when the case member is separated from the attachment part, the operation mechanism (27) moves away from the inner surface of the attachment part, thereby operating the lock mechanism (26) so as to restrict the movement of the placement platform (22).
