Disclosed is a parachute, comprising: a parachute body (100), the parachute body (100) being formed by splicing 2N pieces of canopies, and the parachute body (100) being hemispherical after being opened; suspension lines (200), there being N suspension lines, two ends of each suspension line (200) being respectively fixed to the lower edges of two pieces of opposite canopies, and the middle portion of the suspension line (200) being able to stretched in a direction away from the parachute body (100) so as to be fixed to an evacuee; and a support member (300), made of glass fiber, the support member (300) being fixed to the lower edge of the parachute body (100), and the support member (300) extending along the lower edge of the parachute body (100) and being connected end to end to form a closed circular ring. The parachute is provided with the support member (300), and the support member (300) is made of glass fiber having high strength and good flexibility, so that the parachute is convenient for storage and can be quickly opened, the overall strength is high after the parachute is opened, and the safety is high. The parachute is simple in structure, easy to operate, and low in cost, and can be consumed and used by ordinary people.
