Abstract:
The parallax calculation device according to the present invention comprises an acquisition unit and a controller. The acquisition unit acquires a standard image captured by a stereo camera and a reference image. The controller extracts, from each of the standard image and the reference image, several lines out of a plurality of lines that are parallel to a first direction, on an image space, which corresponds to a base line direction in a three-dimensional coordinate space. The controller calculates parallax between the standard image and the reference image on the basis of a plurality of pixels included in the extracted lines.
