Abstract:

The present invention relates to a parallel cylinder type check valve and, more particularly, to a parallel cylinder type check valve in which two shock absorbing dampers are connected in parallel to each other so as to absorb shock when a valve is closed, wherein the length of a locker arm connected to any one shock absorbing damper is adjusted to be longer according to the principle of levers in order to provide a sufficient shock absorbing effect. Also, the present invention relates to a parallel cylinder type check valve which is rapidly closed at a high speed at the time of the initial closing of the valve and is slowly closed at a low speed at the later closing of the valve by means of the parallel cylinder, thereby preventing noise and vibration, as well as preventing water hammer.
