Abstract:
Disclosed is a parallel drive system which provides at low cost a system which reduces the vibrations of arm members without a position detector being provided in a slave servo motor and enables high-speed positioning. The parallel drive system comprises a master servo motor and a slave servo motor which are arranged in parallel and have mobile units for linear movement, and arm members which bridge the two mobile units. The parallel drive system is further provided with: a position detector for detecting position information of the mobile unit of the master servo motor, an acceleration sensor for detecting acceleration information of the mobile unit of the slave servo motor, a master servo amplifier for controlling the master servo motor on the basis of position information, and a slave servo amplifier for controlling the slave servo motor on the basis of position information and acceleration information.
