Abstract:
Provided is a parallel light solar simulator which can easily irradiate high precision parallel light. The parallel light solar simulator is a parallel light solar simulator (10) which irradiates parallel light onto a solar battery and measures the output characteristics thereof, and comprises a parabolic mirror (15), the main axis of which is an axis (Lp) parallel with an axis perpendicular to the light receiving surface (18) of the solar battery (17), and a light source (11) arranged at a distance from the focal point (F) such that the position is equivalent to the focal point (F) of the parabolic mirror (15). The light irradiated from the light source (11) arranged at the position which is equivalent to the focal point (F) is reflected by the parabolic mirror (15) and becomes high-precision parallel light which is irradiated onto the light-receiving surface (18) of the solar battery (17).
