Abstract:
Provided is a parallel link robot (1) comprising a base portion (2), a movable portion (3) that is placed below the base portion (2) with a gap, and a plurality of arms (4, 5, 6) that connect the base portion (2) and the movable portion (3) in parallel, wherein the arms (4, 5, 6) respectively comprise drive links (10, 11, 12) rotationally driven by motors (7, 8, 9) installed on the base portion (2) and pairs of two parallel passive links (13, 14, 15) that connect the drive links (10, 11, 12) and the movable portion (3), wherein the movable portion (3) comprises a tip drive mechanism including a motor and a housing (21) accommodating the tip drive mechanism, and wherein the lower ends of the respective pairs of two parallel passive links (13, 14, 15) are connected to the housing (21) so as to be rotatable about a rotation center set on an upper end of the housing (21).
