Abstract:
The present invention pertains to a parallel measurement device and a parallel measurement method for multiple reactions, and the objective of the present invention is to measure a number of reactions quickly, easily, and accurately. The present invention is configured to comprise, at least: a plurality of light guiding paths which are provided corresponding to a plurality of reaction spot array elements having a plurality of reaction spots, each of which has a measurement end arranged approachable to a corresponding one of the reaction spots, and which can guide, to a connection end, light which can be generated due to a reaction at the reaction spot; a measurement head that is provided so as to be relatively movable such that the measurement ends simultaneously reach predetermined measurement positions of the corresponding reaction spots of the reaction spot array elements with a predetermined scanning cycle; a light guiding path selection unit that includes a light guiding area which optically connects to the connection ends of the light guiding paths that are sequentially selected with a predetermined selection cycle, while the measurement ends are moving to the predetermined measurement positions or are stopped at the positions, to allow incident light to be emitted; a light receiving unit; and a digital data conversion unit which, with a predetermined selection cycle, converts image region data obtained from the light receiving unit to sequentially obtain digital data.
