Title:
PARALLEL RECUPERATIVE POWER GENERATION SYSTEM USING SUPERCRITICAL CARBON DIOXIDE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/097450
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a parallel recuperative power generation system using supercritical carbon dioxide, capable of improving power generation efficiency and can reduce costs. According to the present invention, the parallel recuperative power generation system using supercritical carbon dioxide has an advantage of maximizing turbine work since recuperators are arranged in parallel so as to enable the compression ratio of a turbine to be increased. In addition, high-temperature and low-temperature parts of a plurality of heaters and the recuperators have uniform heat transfer temperature distribution so as to enable flow rate distribution, thereby maximizing heat exchange efficiency. A mixing effect in a low-temperature region is insignificant due to the parallel arrangement of the recuperators even though a temperature difference occurs at high-temperature fluid outlets of the two recuperators, and the inlet temperature of a compressor is maintained by the flow rate of a cooling source in a pre-cooler, thereby having an advantage of eliminating concerns of operability. Furthermore, when the same power, compared to that of a conventional cycle, is produced, costs are reduced because of the low UA of a heat exchanger.
