Abstract:
The invention relates to a park lock (10) for motor vehicles, comprising an actuation system (12) with a shaft (14) for coupling to an actuator (16), the shaft (14) being pivotable about an actuation axis (A) between an actuation position and a release position, a latching system (18) coupled to the actuation system (12) and having a latch (20) pivotable about the actuation axis (A) between a latching position and an unlatching position, a pawl (22) pivotable about a pawl bearing axis (B) between a locking position and a release position, and a park lock toothed wheel (24) rotatable about a park lock axis (C) and coupled to a motor vehicle wheel. The park lock (10) additionally comprises at least one of the following features: an axial end (44) of the shaft (14) is designed as a multi-toothed or polygonal element for form-fittingly engaging the actuator (16); a leaf spring (46) and a ratchet element (48) secured to the shaft (14) for conjoint rotation therewith are provided, the leaf spring (46) and the ratchet element (48) forming a ratchet connection both in the actuation position and in the release position of the shaft (14); the park lock toothed wheel (24) has teeth (34) and tooth spaces (36) that alternate in the circumferential direction, the teeth (34) having a saddleback-shaped head contour (38); the latch (20) and/or the pawl (22) comprise at least one recess (42), in order to reduce the moment of inertia; the latch (20) and the pawl (22) co-operate in such a way in the latching position of the latch (20) that a self-locking effect is created between the latch (20) and the pawl (22).
