Abstract:
Disclosed is a parking apparatus that parks a vehicle having a power-feed plug receptacle. Unlike conventional parking apparatuses, the disclosed parking apparatus is provided with: a plurality of pallets; an entry/exit space; a plurality of parking spaces; a conveyance apparatus; a transfer apparatus; a connector that electrically connects a first terminal and a second terminal by bringing the terminal surfaces thereof into contact against each other, and electrically disconnects the first terminal and the second terminal by separating the terminal surfaces thereof; a power-feed circuit that electrically connects the power-feed plug receptacle on the vehicle with the aforementioned connector; and a power-source circuit that feeds power from a power source to the aforementioned second terminal. When the transfer apparatus moves one of the pallets horizontally in a transfer direction between one of the parking spaces and the conveyance apparatus, which stops next to the parking space, the first terminal is supported by the pallet and the second terminal is supported in the parking space such that the terminal surfaces face each other horizontally.
