Abstract:
The present invention provides a parking area extraction device that extracts a parking area, that is, an area in which to park a vehicle within a site, the parking area extraction device comprising: an acquisition unit that acquires map information including the site; an extraction unit that uses the map information to divide the site and extract parking area candidates; and an estimation unit that estimates a parking area by deriving a probability for each of the candidates.
