Abstract:
Provided is a parking assistance device which can reduce inconvenience felt by a driver who is accustomed to an automatic parking control, after a target vehicle speed is corrected to a deceleration side when, for example, the automatic parking control starts to be used. This parking assistance device suppresses the speed of a vehicle at the time of parking, assists in the parking of the vehicle, and increases the vehicle speed at the time of parking according to the behavior of the vehicle in current or previous parking.
