Abstract:
This parking control device has a control unit and a notification unit. The control unit performs parking assistance control to cause a vehicle to travel from the position where the occupants of the vehicle got out of the vehicle to a preset parking space and park the vehicle in the parking space by autonomous driving. The control unit discontinues the parking assistance control if there is an obstacle in the road that the vehicle is travelling on, including the parking space. The notification unit provides notification of the discontinuation of the parking assistance control. The notification unit transmits information indicating the discontinuation of the parking assistance control to a device that has identification information which has been preliminarily associated with vehicle identification information.
