Abstract:
A parking guidance system and method based on a desired parking duration and weather information, the method comprising: when a driver decides, according to weather information within a preset duration corresponding to a target parking lot queried by means of a parking guidance system (402), that it is necessary to generate an external guidance path, generating an external guidance path between the entry position of the target parking lot and the current vehicle position, the target parking lot being a certain parking lot selected from all parking lots which are found by the driver via the parking guidance system (402) and have a vacant parking space, and the remaining length of lease time of the vacant parking space exceeding a desired parking duration of the driver; and sending the external guidance path and positional information of the target parking space in the target parking lot to a communication device (401) for parking guidance, the target parking space being any vacant parking space in the target parking lot, the remaining length of lease time of which exceeds the desired parking duration. The parking guidance system and the parking guidance method can guide a vehicle to a parking space suitable for the desired parking duration of the driver, and enable the driver to know in advance weather information within a preset duration corresponding to the parking lot.
