Abstract:
A partial denture includes: an artificial tooth 10; a pair of engaging members 20, 30 that support the artificial tooth 10, that are configured to be capable of opening and closing, that are separated from each other such that a tooth row can be inserted therebetween in an open state, and that are engaged with the tooth row from inside and outside in a closed state; and a lock structure 14 that locks the closed state of the pair of engaging members 20, 30 in a releasable manner. At least one of the pair of engaging members 20, 30 has: first engaging sections 23 that engage with inclined sections of a plurality of teeth in the tooth row, the inclined sections being inclined further in the spreading direction at positions closer to tooth roots; and a second engaging section 24 that engages with an undercut section of at least one tooth in the tooth row, the undercut section being inclined in a direction opposite to the direction in which the inclined sections are inclined.
