Abstract:

Conventionally, the precision with which partial discharge is detected by a partial discharge detector is insufficient. The partial discharge detector of the present invention is provided with a signal acquisition unit, a first filter unit, a second filter unit, and a determination unit. The signal acquisition unit is provided to an accommodation member for accommodating an electrical apparatus and acquires a detection signal. The first filter unit extracts a first detection signal having a frequency equal to or greater than a first frequency, the first detection signal being included in the detection signal. The second filter unit extracts a second detection signal having a frequency band between a second frequency and a third frequency, the second detection signal being included in the detection signal. The determination unit determines whether partial discharge has occurred on the basis of the first detection signal and the second detection signal.
