Abstract:
The present invention relates to a partial discharge diagnosis and location detection method and comprises the steps of: configuring a trigger signal on the basis of a first sensing signal acquired from multiple partial discharge sensors provided at a power facility; comparing the trigger signal with a second sensing signal acquired from the multiple partial discharge sensors; detecting a partial discharge signal occurrence location on the basis of the second sensing signal extracted during a threshold time from a time point at which the second sensing signal has a value equal to or greater than the trigger signal; and finally deciding the detected occurrence location as a partial discharge signal occurrence location when the detected occurrence location is included in geographic information system (GIS) coordinates. Other embodiments are also applicable.
