Abstract:
Provided is a partial drive-type light source device with which it is possible to suppress the coloring of a portion intended to be a dark section when a plurality of light-emitting elements are driven in a partial manner. This partial drive-type light source device has: an excitation light source; a phosphor sheet disposed so as to be set away from the excitation light source, the phosphor sheet including a phosphor that releases emitted light in a wavelength region different from that of incident light; and a wavelength-selective reflection film disposed between the excitation light source and the phosphor sheet, the wavelength-selective reflection film transmitting at least part of the light in the wavelength region of the incident light from the excitation light source, and reflecting light in at least part of the wavelength region of the emitted light from the phosphor sheet.
