Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a partial emission type light-emitting member wherein sufficient light emission surface area can be assured in a circumferential surface and light emission performance can be increased, and for which manufacturing can be efficiently carried out. [Solution] A partial light emission type light-emitting member formed from a transparent resin core layer (1), a semitransparent resin cladding layer (2), and an opaque resin light reflecting layer (3). When light is incident inside the core layer (1) from an end surface of the core layer (1), light can be radiated to the outside with part of the circumferential surface on which the light reflecting layer (3) is not formed as a light-emitting surface (B) In addition, a reflective surface (R) provided with the light reflecting layer (3) is formed at least in positions facing the light-emitting surface (E) in cross-sectional surfaces on the circumferential surface, excluding the light-emitting surface (E), and an inclined surface (S) or a curved surface (C) for which the thickness of the core layer (1) gradually narrows from a center line (A) passing through middle of the light-emitting surface (E) and the center of the core to the end side in the cross-sectional surface is formed on all or part of this reflective surface (R) for the facing positions by the core layer (1) being formed with a prescribed cross-sectional shape.
