Title:
PARTICLE ARRAY TRANSFER DEVICE AND PARTICLE ARRAY TRANSFER METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2022/176048
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
This particle array transfer device is provided with a flow channel (101), a first electrode (102), a second electrode (103), and a power supply (104). The first electrode (102) and the second electrode (103) are formed on the bottom surface of the flow channel (101) so as to extend in the direction of the flow channel (101) in such a manner as to be separated from each other toward the right and the left in the flow channel (101) direction. The interval between the electrodes is configured to be increasingly narrowed toward an exit of the flow channel (101), and is set to be, at a narrow part, approximately equal to the diameter of particles (121). The power supply (104) applies an alternating-current voltage at an alternating-current frequency at which the particles (121) will have a complex permittivity εp that is greater than the complex permittivity εp of a solution (122).
