Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a particle beam therapy apparatus, which does not require separate verification of the operational integrity of dosage monitors and does not require an additional malfunction-diagnosing function. By configuring a particle beam therapy apparatus (100) to control the dosage monitor circuits (52, 53), which correspond respectively to two dosage monitors (50, 51), by switching the primary and secondary roles of the dosage monitors with each irradiation using a dosage monitor system control device (54), verification of the operation of the two dosage monitors (50, 51) can be performed during the flow of therapy without requiring a special operation.
