A particle classification apparatus capable of precision classification of particles with uniform length; and an adhesive containing particles classified by the apparatus that is capable of inter-electrode connection under low pressure and is capable of coping with realization of fine electrode pitch. The particle classification apparatus (1) comprises dispersion means (2) for dispersing of multiple particles (P); particle orienting means (3) for orienting in the direction of delivery (X) each of the dispersed multiple particles (P) being spaced from each other in the direction of delivery (X) of the particles (P); particle length measuring means (4) for measuring the length of each of the multiple particles (P) having been oriented in the direction of delivery (X); and particle separation means (5) for separating particles (P) with given length on the basis of data regarding measured lengths of particles (P).
