Abstract:
A particle detection device according to the present disclosure is provided with a first irradiation unit for irradiating excitation light onto a flow path through which particles flow and thereby exciting the particles such that the same emit fluorescence, a first separation unit for separating the light irradiated onto the flow path by the first irradiation unit into excitation light and fluorescence, a first detection unit for detecting the fluorescence separated by the first separation unit, a second irradiation unit for irradiating the excitation light separated by the first separation unit onto the flow path and thereby exciting the particles such that the same emit fluorescence, a second separation unit for separating the light irradiated onto the flow path by the second irradiation unit into excitation light and fluorescence, and a second detection unit for detecting the fluorescence separated by the second separation unit.
