Abstract:
This particle discrimination mechanism comprises: a flow channel that includes a plurality of first nano particles containing an absorber having a prescribed absorption level and a plurality of second nano particles not containing the absorber having the prescribed absorption level, and that has a first input part and a second input part; a laser which outputs, in a direction toward the second input part from the first input part, a first beam that is absorbed by the absorber having the prescribed absorption level; and a laser which outputs, in a direction toward the first input part from the second input part, a second beam that is not absorbed by the absorber having the prescribed absorption level, but is scattered or absorbed by the second nano particles.
