Abstract:

Provided is an electrostatically chargeable particle for a display medium, which is used for an information display panel and which comprises a mother particle of resin and an external additive applied to a surface of the mother particle. An external additive comprised of an external additive having a weak hydrophobicity and an external additive comprising a metal oxide is used. Consequently, a low-voltage drive is possible and as a result, the cost for manufacturing an information display panel using the particle can be reduced.
