Abstract:
Provided is a microparticle extraction technology that makes it possible to quickly and stably extract only target microparticles from a sheath flow flowing through a flow path. A particle extraction apparatus is provided with a first extraction part for extracting, from an overall sample including target particles, a sample for extraction including the target particles without carrying out abort processing, and a second extraction part for carrying out abort processing on the sample for extraction and extracting only the target particles.
