Abstract:

Disclosed is a method for recovering particles from a particle-containing slurry. The slurry is gently supplied to a container (1), and the quantity of the slurry in the container (1) is fixed by partly discharging the slurry from the container (1). A part of a disc-like electrode (2a) is in contact with the slurry. The electrode (2a) rotates by means of a motor (10), and a fixed scraper (9) is linearly in contact with the electrode surface. The paste-like condensed particles adhered on the electrode surface are scraped by means of the scraper (9), and the electrode after the scraping is quickly cleaned. The scraped paste-like condensed particles are scraped by means of a wire (12), and are discharged to the outside of the container (1). The wire (12) passes through a die (14), thus, the scraped paste-like condensed particles are finally discharged to the outside of the container (1) and are recovered.
