Abstract:
Disclosed are: particles which have high structural stability and narrow variations in the particle size, can enclose a hydrophilic active substance or the like therein stably while keeping the activity of the hydrophilic active substance or the like, and can release the hydrophilic active substance therefrom in a sustained manner; a method for producing the particles; and a gel.
Each of the particles comprises a first layer and a second layer arranged on the outside of the first layer. In each of the particles, the first and second layers individually comprise an amphiphilic block copolymer comprising a hydrophilic polymer block and a hydrophobic polymer block. In the first layer, the hydrophilic polymer block is arranged on the inside and the hydrophobic polymer block is arranged on the outside. In the second layer, the hydrophobic polymer block is arranged on the inside and the hydrophilic polymer block is arranged on the outside.
