Abstract:
Provided is a particulate water-absorbing agent having exceptional liquid permeability and water absorbency under pressure. In this particulate water-absorbing agent, the rate represented by centrifugation retention rate/Ln (water-soluble quantity), the molecular-weight distribution of the water-soluble portion, the weight-average molecular weight after a hydrolysis process, and the branch density after the hydrolysis process all indicate values within specific ranges.
