Abstract:
A partitioning member (1) for total heat exchange elements which is constituted of a porous substrate (2), the surface and inside of the porous substrate (2) having been loaded with a hydrophilic polymer (3). The hydrophilic polymer (3) is formed by polymerizing a low-molecular organic compound that is represented by chemical formula (1) having a quaternary ammonium group and an amide group. (In the formula, A is a linear or branched C1-10 alkylene group, R1, R2, and R3 each independently represent a linear or branched C1-8 alkyl group, and Y has a polymerizable functional group and is polymerized to constitute the main chain of the hydrophilic polymer.)
