Abstract:
A parts storing device (100) that manages a plurality of containers (P) that further accommodates cuboid packaging to accommodate parts and that has a cuboid accommodating space, wherein the parts storing device comprises: a container information recording unit (7) that records a part ID for a part to be accommodated in each container (P), the dimensions of the packaging, and the dimensions of each of the three sides of the plurality of cuboid spaces dividing the remaining space in the container (P); a storage and retrieval information recording unit (3) that records information based on the storage and retrieval of a part; and a container selection device (8) that determines which container (P) to take out from a container storage unit (9) storing the plurality of containers (P) from the storage and retrieval information recording unit (3) information and the container information recording unit (7) information.
