Abstract:

The purpose of the present invention is to calculate the predicted arrival time of a train to be announced with higher accuracy. To this end, a passenger announcement device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: an announcement control unit which outputs an announcement broadcast and an announcement display in a station; and a logic operation unit which calculates a predicted arrival time of a train to be announced. The logic operation unit calculates a required time taken for the train to be announced to travel from the announcement station to the destination station, on the basis of traveling record information on one or more preceding trains that travel in a section from the announcement station to the destination station, and calculates a predicted time when the train to be announced arrives at the destination station by using the calculated required time.
