Disclosed is a passenger automobile door structure wherein the edge of a decorative molding which constitutes ornamental design surfaces of a window frame of a door is not exposed, resulting in the visual quality of the door being improved. The passenger automobile door structure is such that the decorative molding (62), which constitutes the ornamental design surfaces (63e, 64e), is installed on the outside of the window frame (60) of the automobile door, and that on the backside of the window frame (60), there is provided a weather strip (40) which seals the space between the door and the periphery of a door opening. The decorative molding (62) consists of an ornamental design section and a peripheral section (64f), said ornamental design section constituting the ornamental design surfaces (63e, 64e) of the window frame (60), and said peripheral section (64f) being formed by being bent toward the backside with respect to the ornamental design section. An edge (64j) at the end of the peripheral section (64f) is fitted into a groove section (45m) which is formed in the weather strip (40).
