Abstract:

Deterioration in the appearance of ceiling material will be lessened. With the passenger compartment material structure (10), a water guide (34) is provided for a ceiling material (12) to guide, on a pillar garnish (14), water (W) flowing toward the pillar garnish (14) on the compartment-exterior surface (32A) of an air barrier film (32). Consequently, the water guide (34) guides the water (W) on the pillar garnish (14), even in cases in which the water (W) has flowed toward the pillar garnish (14) on the compartment-exterior surface (32A) of the air barrier film (32), so the water (W) can be kept from reaching the end (28A) of upholstery (28) on the pillar garnish (14) side. Thus, the water (W) can be kept from seeping into the compartment-interior side of the upholstery (28), and deterioration in the appearance of the ceiling material (12) can be lessened.
