The invention relates to passenger control systems for use in public transport such as especially airplanes, trains, buses and ships, which informs the officials about the position of the passengers in the transport vehicles such as whether or not the passengers are in their seats.

State Of The Art:

Today, there is no system in the public transport vehicles which checks whether the passengers are in the seats or not. In this case it is not known whether their passengers are in their seats or not. Especially in the airplanes, hostesses constantly try to locate their passengers. They warn the passengers who stand or untighten their belts by following them. In our age in which the technology is quite developed, the fact that there is no system that can follow the passengers in the airplane is one of the greatest disadvantages of the technique. A passenger who leaves his / her seat in the airplane is monitored instantaneously, causing inaccuracies in terms of where the information such as where he / she is going and where he / she is in the aircraft cannot be reached and this is a deficit in terms of emergency states or states that require the provision of safety measures.

In the patent document with the application number of TR 2017/19975 which is mentioned in the records of Turkish Patent and Trademark Institution: The invention is related to the following“ In the public transport vehicles that allow the travelling of people/ passengers in/ between provinces or districts; the system(A) regarding the number of passengers and safety belt that is mounted on each and every seat and capable of transferring the data in a wireless pattern, it has a weight which can be mounted easily and belt censors (2,4), it checks the number of the passengers and safety belt of the passengers, instantly informs the center by creating an audible or visual warning if there is a passenger remaining in the vehicle after the motor of the vehicle is switched off and it can connect to the general network (sales software) in the public transport vehicle and it can sell tickets". The above-specified statement is expressed. The aforesaid document with the number of TR 2017/19975 is a system that controls the number of passengers with the safety belts. In this case, the position of the passengers in the vehicle cannot be determined. In addition, this document deals mainly with buses and similar passenger vehicles. As a result, a passenger control system that overcomes and eliminates the disadvantages and the recognized state of the technique is required.

Brief Description of the Invention: The invention is a passenger control system which, in addition to the additional advantages, overcomes the disadvantages of the recognized state of the technique, eliminates disadvantages.

Description of the Invention:

In this detailed description, the passenger control system (1 ) is explained with examples which will not constitute a restricting impact for the better understanding of the subject. In the instruction book, the invention relates to passenger control system(1 ) for use in public transport such as especially airplanes, trains, buses and ships, which informs the officials about the position of the passengers in the transport vehicles such as whether or not the passengers are in their seats.

Symbolic visual of the passenger control system (1 ) which is the subject of the invention is shown in Figure 1. The passenger control system (1 ) consists of the following: a ticket (10) on which there is a wristband (1 1 ) with a magnetic feature, reader (20) which allows the reading of the bracelet^ 1 ) to the system, screen (30) in which the information with regards to the state of the passenger seats is included, control unit (40) which transmits the magnetic wristband (11 ) data instantly to the system, indicators (50) that show the occupancy rate of the seats.

The ticket (10) visual included in the invention is shown on Figure 2. There is a wristband (1 1 ) with a magnetic feature on the ticket (10). The wristband (1 1 ) can be easily separated/ detached from the ticket. The passenger's seat number is specified on the wristband (1 1 ). The wristband seat number (1 1 ) is prepared in a way that on wristbands of each and every passenger, their seat number will be specified.

Safety belt (60) on the airplane seats are shown on the Figure 3. A safety sensor (61 ) is placed at the connection point on the belt (60). The safety sensor (61 ) will automatically send the notification to the control unit (40) when the safety belt (60) is opened. Thus, when the safety belt (60) is opened, the notification will be received by the pilot and staff members.

The seat sensor (71 ) located under the airplane seat (70) is shown symbolically on Figure 4. Accordingly, when the passenger leaves the seat (70), the control unit (40) is also notified. Thanks to this, the pilot and the assigned personnel are able to monitor instantly whether the passenger is standing in the aircraft. The pilots will be able to control this follow-up through the indicators (50) in the cockpit and the personnel will be able to do the same thing through the seat numbers on the screen (50). The seat number of the passenger leaving the seat (K) is shown in different colors on the screen (30).

The wristband (1 1 ) attached to the plane ticket (10) is manually detached from the ticket (10) by the passenger. The passenger then wears the wristband (1 1 ) and when she/ he are boarding in the airport, the wristband is swiped to the reader at the door. After, the passenger swipes his/ her wristband (1 1 ) again to the reader (20) located at the entrance of the plane after entering the aircraft (1 1 ). By doing so, he/ she will confirm that he/ she entered the plane. The wristband (11 ) is equipped with a high-precision magnetic system. Thanks to this, all movements of the passengers within the airplane can be tracked through the wristband (11 ). The control unit (40) regularly gets the movements of magnetic wristbands (1 1 ) and reduces the date on the screen (30). The system has multiple screens (30) in the cockpit, areas of the assigned personnel and observation decks of the airport. In this case, take off of the aircraft is not allowed before making it sure that all the passengers are seated. In addition, the movement of a passenger in the plane from the seat on the plane can be monitored instantaneously and even how much time spent in the rest room can be monitored. The numbers of passengers who are not on board are determined as the missing passengers by the virtue of the wristbands (1 1 ) which are swiped during the boarding process. How many passengers are missing is immediately known. Users who want to enter the aircraft illegally can be detected immediately. It is quite simple to install the system into the airplanes. The system can be easily installed with the following; reader (20) to be placed at the boarding gates in the airports and entrance gates located in the airplane, magnetic wristbands (1 1 ) which will be given with the tickets (10), control unit (40) which constantly follows the wristband (1 1 ) data, screen (30) which allows the data received from the control unit (40) to be submitted to the assigned officials.

The passenger control system (1 ) also provides the early take off of the airplane as well as many advantages compared to a primitive control system such as counting the passengers one by one before the take off. The contact information such as name and surname of the passengers seating on the seats can be reached.

The indicators (50) placed in the cockpit in the aircraft can be monitored instantly as to how many passengers are on board and how many passengers have not yet been seated. The passengers on the seats (70) can be controlled through large screens (30) located in the personnel cabin in the airplane and airport boarding cabins. For instance, if the passengers are on their seats (K) the seat (K) is shown in green, if not it is shown in red and if it’s empty its shown in gray color.

In the lower part of the screen (30), it is instantly shown how many passengers are on the plane and how many passengers are not.

Therefore, the invention relates to passenger control system(1 ) for use in public transport such as especially airplanes, trains, buses and ships, which informs the officials about the position of the passengers in the transport vehicles such as whether or not the passengers are in their seats. According to the its innovation is as follows; It contains a ticket (10) that includes a ticket (1 1 ) which allows the active tracking by the control unit (40) thanks to its magnetic feature, it contains a reader which is placed to the boarding gates of the airport and entrance gates of the planes (20) with a magnetic feature which reads the wristbands (11 ) of the passengers and the said wristband(11 ) is structured in a pattern which can be easily attached on the wrist of the passenger by separating the wristband (1 1 ) from the ticket (10), it contains a screen (30) which shows data such as the state of the passengers in the airplane, number of the passengers, number of the missing passengers, state of the mobile passengers in the plane, occupancy rate of thee seats to be seen by the assigned personnel in the airplane and the airport, it contains the control unit (40) which transmits the data to the screen(30) which allows the instant tracking of the movements of the passengers in the airplane, it contains an indicator (50) which shows the occupancy rates in the working area of the assigned personnel , primarily the cockpit.
