Abstract:
Provided is a passenger detection device (10), comprising: a facial image acquisition unit (12) which acquires a facial image which is captured in a state in which irradiation light is irradiated from a plurality of light sources toward a passenger in a moving body; a reflected image position detection unit (14) which detects, from the facial image, positions of each reflected image of the plurality of light sources which is reflected in eyeglasses which the passenger is wearing; an eyeglasses feature detection unit (15) which detects, from the facial image, a position of a central point of a lens as feature information of the eyeglasses; a head position detection unit (16) which detects the position of the passenger's head on the basis of the positions of each of the reflected images; and a face orientation detection unit (17) which, on the basis of a relation between the position of the passenger's head, the positions of each of the reflected images, and the position of the central point of the lens, detects the orientation of the passenger's face.
