Abstract:

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a passenger imaging device which can reliably image a passenger's face without compromising the design of an instrument panel. The present invention provides a passenger imaging device (12) for imaging a passenger in a vehicle in which a display (10) is disposed on an instrument panel (4), said passenger imaging device being provided with a camera lens (22) which is built in the display with the light entrance face thereof facing the passenger side. The display is disposed so as to stand on the upper surface of the instrument panel. The display has a display unit (16) and an outer frame (18) that is adjacent to at least a portion of the outer edge of the display unit, and the camera lens is disposed inside the outer frame.
