Abstract:
A passenger monitoring system according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a distance measurement sensor that is provided in a vehicle and can output distance information corresponding to the distance to a passenger in the vehicle; and a control unit that estimates the state of congestion for the vehicle on the basis of the distance information.
