Abstract:
The present invention relates to a passenger taxi-hiring history data-based system for correcting a boarding location on an electronic map. The system comprises an electronic map client connected via a mobile internet and a server storing passenger taxi-hiring history data. The electronic map client is capable of making preliminary positioning on the basis of information received thereby. The server storing passenger taxi-hiring data stores passenger boarding location history data. The system is characterized in that it also comprises a boarding location correction component. The component utilizes the passenger boarding location history data to correct a current boarding location in the electronic map client. The present invention also relates to a method for using said system in correcting a boarding location on an electronic map.
