Abstract:
A paste for forming a barrier rib, which is capable of forming a rib through plastic deformation and comprises 80 to 95 wt % of a glass powder or a glass-ceramic mixed powder, 0.05 to 3 wt % of a resin and 7 to 15 wt % of a solvent, wherein the glass powder or the glass-ceramic mixed powder has an average particle diameter D50 of 0.3 to 2.5 μm; a method for forming a rib which comprises applying the above paste on a substrate to form a paste film, allowing a blade having a specific comb shape to penetrate into the paste film, and moving the blade in a given direction relative to the paste film, to form a rib through the plastic deformation of the paste film. The method allows the formation of a barrier rib, with a reduced number of steps, minimum wastage of raw materials, ease and simplicity, and good precision.
