Abstract:
Disclosed are a path control apparatus and path control method for an automated guided vehicle. In this regard, the path control apparatus for the automated guided vehicle comprises: a measurement unit for detecting environment information inside a factory where the automated guided vehicle is driven, and calculating an internal change degree and a spatial complexity degree, on the basis of the environment information; a path calculation unit for calculating a driving path of the automated guided vehicle by using a hybrid path search algorithm set on the basis of the internal change degree and the spatial complexity degree; and a control unit for determining whether the inside of the factory corresponds to a dynamic environment or a static environment, by comparing the internal change degree with a first reference value, configuring the hybrid path search algorithm as a first path search algorithm when the inside of the factory corresponds to the dynamic environment, configuring the hybrid path search algorithm as a second path search algorithm when the inside of the factory corresponds to the static environment, determining whether the inside of the factory corresponds to a simple environment or a complicated environment, by comparing the spatial complexity degree with a second reference value, configuring the hybrid path search algorithm as a third path search algorithm when the inside of the factory corresponds to the simple environment, and configuring the hybrid path search algorithm as the first path search algorithm when the inside of the factory corresponds to the complicated environment.
