Abstract:
Disclosed in the present application is a path switching method. The method comprises: a first terminal sending a first message to a first network device, the first message being used to request to switch a second terminal from a non-direct connection path that communicates with the first network device by means of the first terminal, to a direct connection path that communicates with the first network device or a second network device; or the first message being used to request to release a link between the first terminal and the second terminal; the first network device being different from the second network device; the first terminal releasing the link between the first terminal and the second terminal. By means of the described solution, a remote terminal can be triggered by a relay terminal to switch from a non-direct connection path to a direct connection path, being able to more flexibly adapt to a relay scenario.
