It takes several shapes: right angle, two right angles, obtuse angle, two obtuse angle, turned U letter shape or semi-circular shape. 4. Power source at lighting the smart pavements : Electricity 220v or solar power. |
Description
The invention is at the field of pavement light.
The invention is a solution for the problems of the light curbstone existing currently at the markets.
Problems related to the light curbstone :
1- It is necessary to replace the curbstones of the old pavement and replacing it with the light curbstone.
2- Working on removing the old curbstones and installing the light curbstone consumes a lot of time, effort and money and doesn't give the desired aesthetic form.
3- During the removing and installing period, there is confusion and crowded traffic for some days.
4- The maintenance of the light curbstone is very difficult since it is necessary to remove the curbstone when we need to change the internal light due to the light breakdown.
5- The external cover of the curbstone is unchangeable.
6- The financial cost is very high.
General description for the invention :
Installing the light curbstone consumes a lot of time, effort and money, and the existing of the labors and equipment at the work area for removing and installing causes confusion and crowded traffic.
The invention of pavement light is about a light installed on the same old cement curbstone for the cement pavement, passages and pours alongside the Highways, cities entrances and bridges, without removing it to give an aesthetic form in less time, effort and cost.

1. The installation is very easy with less time, effort and cost.
2. The installation of pavement light doesn't confuse the traffic.
3. The maintenance is very easy and it is easy to change the internal light easily when necessary.
4. The ability to change the external cover color when necessary.
5. The financial cost is low and reasonable in comparison to the light curbstone.
6. The ability to transfer the internal light to three dimensional light.
7. The ability to develop to work on the solar power if the consumer needs that.
8. Lighting the pavements of different angles and measures according to the pavements specifications at every country.
9. The ability to put internal lighting guiding signs in order to give more aesthetic view.

The invention of pavements lighting is about a Luminous template set on the old cement curbstone for the cement pavement, passages and pours alongside the Highways, cities entrances and bridges, without removing it, and its measures and angles are determined according to the pavements specifications at every country.
I have designed the primary model according to the pavements specifications at the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Pavements lighting : is of three parts
1- Frame surrounding the cement curbstone from outside and has four openings for installation.
2- Internal lighting as per request.
3- External cover bears temperature up to 70° Celsius and colors as per the request.
I have implemented the primary model locally with a personal effort according to the pavements specifications at the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Used materials at the primary form:
Frame: iron tube empty square 2.5 * 2.5 cm.
Cover : the frame is fully covered by the acrylic material
Lighting : LED bar of Variable colors inside the frame to show the aesthetic appearance and low electricity consumption.
The measures of the frame of the primary model :
2 parts of 50 cm
4 parts of 11 cm
2 parts of 12 cm
They were ingathered using the welding as follow :
The width is 50 cm from the top and 50 cm from the bottom.
The total length for every side is 34 cm divided as follow:
11 cm with obtuse angle 140 degree , and 12 cm straight with obtuse angle 140 degree of 11 cm length.
Energy Source : Electricity 220-240 V
Can be developed to work with solar power.
