Abstract:
During the summer, the disclosed paving block can continuously exert a temperature-increase-suppression effect near the surface thereof. Also, the surface of the disclosed paving block has a high slip resistance, providing a high level of safety. Said paving block can be used to easily form paving for sidewalks, roads, and the like, in a short amount of time. The disclosed paving block (1) comprises a coating (3), which comprises a thermal-barrier paving coating material, formed on the textured surface of a piece of hardened cement (2). The textured surface of the hardened cement (2) is formed via at least one of the following methods: (a) using porous concrete as the hardened cement; (b) finishing with shot blasting; (c) finishing with washing out; and (d) using a form that has a textured inner surface. The disclosed paving block (1) may be provided with a binder course (4).
