Abstract:
The present invention relates to a payment method using biometric information recognition, and a device and a system for the same, and when a terminal device in a payment system presets a biometric information recognition scheme to be used for a payment service, registers biometric registration information and payment information with respect to biometric information recognized according to the preset biometric information recognition scheme, recognizes biometric information according to the preset biometric information recognition scheme for a payment request, and requests a payment by using the recognized biometric information, a service device receives, from the terminal device, and pre-registers the biometric registration information and the payment information, performs user authentication by comparing the biometric information received from the terminal device for the payment request with the pre-registered biometric registration information, processes the requested payment by using the payment information mapped to the biometric information and registered if the user authentication succeeds, and then transmits payment processing result information to the terminal device, thereby enabling more accurate user authentication and strengthening of security during payment.
