Title:
PEAK SUPPRESSION CIRCUIT, PEAK SUPPRESSION METHOD, AND ORTHOGONAL FREQUENCY DIVISION MULTIPLEXING SCHEME MODULATOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2016/143309
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
In order to suppress the frequency component of the reserved tone to a defined value in a tone reservation process, and to maximize the PAPR suppression amount of a data signal string, the present invention is provided with: a tone reservation executing unit which receives a kernel signal string generated using the reserved tone prepared beforehand, and a data signal string in an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing scheme, and which executes a tone reservation on a data signal string without any suppression in accordance with the updated reserved tone, and which outputs a data signal string having undergone peak suppression; and a reserved tone suppressing unit which receives the data signal string having undergone the peak suppression and the frequency component of the reserved tone corresponding to the data signal string having undergone the peak suppression, and which subtracts, from the data signal string having undergone the peak suppression, a value obtained by executing a reverse Fourier transformation on a frequency data string generated from the frequency component and suppressing a component that exceeds the defined value, and which outputs a data signal string that contains the reserved tone within the defined value.
